Atheist Christmas Ads

USA Today reports that ads saying, “Why believe in a god? Just be good for goodness’ sake,” will appear on Washington, D.C., buses starting next week, sponsored by The American Humanist Association. Fred Edwords, spokesman for the humanist group said, “Our reason for doing it during the holidays is there are an awful lot of agnostics, atheists and other types of non-theists who feel a little alone during the holidays because of its association with traditional religion.”

The ads will point people to a website that will connect them with other atheist thinkers in the area … we’re guessing there’s an underground Christmas party in the works.

How should Christians react to these ads?

*If you live in the D.C. area, take a photo of one of these buses and send it in to Neue.
