My Visit to IJM

Last weekend my wife, Jenna, and I went to D.C. to visit some friends. One of our friends, Kristy, works for the International Justice Mission. We got to hang out at IJM in the morning, meet lots of incredible people and we stayed for their 11am prayer time. It was amazing to listen to prayer requests for operations all over the globe to help fight injustice, rescue girls from brothels and to bring perpetrators to accountability. I’m a big fan of IJM and the work they are doing. Although, I have to admit, I felt a little under-dressed. Their dress code is pretty D.C. but they make exceptions for visitors 🙂

I would highly recommend Gary Haugen’s book, The Good News About Injustice, if you haven’t read it already. His book helped change my perception about what I can do to fight injustice, God used it in my life.

What books have you read that gave you a better perspective on social justice?
