In leadership it’s important that your heart is connected to something bigger. Something that energizes you. Something that keeps you up at night– that itch in your soul that only gets worse the more you itch it.
I’ve found my cause. And it is this:
We simply can’t let Titanic continue to be the highest grossing film of all time any longer.
We have the power to change this.
Last week The Dark Knight passed the $500 million mark domestically. It is only $100 million away from beating James Cameron’s sentimental froo-la-la that drew 13-year-old girls in droves to see it 7 times each.
Ladies, you’re adults now. Be honest. Was it really worth it?
If we could only mobilize 1,000,000 people to see The Dark Night only ONE more time it would surpass Titanic and go down in history as the highest grossing movie ever.
We’re setting up an aggressive marketing campaign to help mobilize movie attenders to contribute to this cause. You can volunteer by making phone calls, sending emails, texts or posting on your own blogs the need for us to just give Dark Knight the little boost it needs to surpass the Sinking Ship movie. We’re creating small teams where you can ‘adopt a theater’ to help mobilize others to our cause. Please download the lawn signs here and put them on your wallpaper, your lawns, your dorm rooms and office cubicles.
This isn’t a passive campaign. We’re asking you to act…by sitting in a movie theater for another 180 minutes.
So, don’t just sit there. Get out there and sit there!!
Near, far, wherever you are…
Will you join me?
