Eugene Cho Took Jeremy Lin on a Trip to Thailand to Learn About Fighting Sex Slavery

Eugene Cho is the pastor of Quest Church in Seattle and the founder of One Day’s Wages, a nonprofit that seeks solutions to extreme poverty. Jeremy Lin is an NBA superstar responsible for spreading a dangerous strain of Linsanity a few years back. The two have little in common besides this: a shared love and concern for the less fortunate.

That led Lin to reach out to Cho, asking how he could get involved with One Day’s Wages and learn more about the blight of sex trafficking, maybe even heading over to Thailand where Cho often works to get some hands-on experience with combatting sex slavery. Cho obliged, and has detailed the whole trip on Instagram.

One Day’s Wages has done a lot of great work when it comes to combatting poverty and sex slavery over the past few years. You may not have the sort of life where you can just hop overseas with Eugene Cho for a trip to see their work firsthand, but there are plenty of ways you can (and should) get involved.
