U.S. Sends 80 Troops to Help Bring Back Missing Girls

President Obama is sending in some of the U.S. military’s finest to bring back a group of missing girls. The White House has announced that 80 Marines and military personnel have been sent to Chad to assist in efforts to locate more than 200 Nigerian schoolgirls kidnapped by the terrorist group Boko Haram in April. In a letter to Congress, President Obama wrote, “These personnel will support the operation of intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance aircraft for missions over northern Nigeria and the surrounding area.” He added, “The force will remain in Chad until its support in resolving the kidnapping situation is no longer required.” Boko Haram is believed to be behind numerous terrorist attacks in Nigeria, including two car bombs this week that killed more than 100 people shopping at a local market …
