Update: The FBI Is Now Considering San Bernardino Shooting an ‘Act of Terrorism’

FBI assistant director David Bowdich announced today that they now classify Wednesday’s shooting in San Bernardino, California, as an “act of terrorism.” We now know that the shooting on the Inland Regional Center was done by Syed Farook and Tashfeen Malik, both of whom have ties to radicalized Islam. In a press conference this morning, the FBI said agents are “utilizing every possible resource to collect information and evidence.”
