PNC Wealth has crunched the numbers on their annual look at the “12 Days of Christmas” to determine how much the gifts would set you back in 2013. This year, all of those swans, lords-a-leaping and golden rings are going to cost you $27,393. If you count all the times the items are repeated in each verse, (a total of 364 items) the grand total comes to a whopping $114,651. And despite some tough economic times, it’s the highest total ever for PNC’s annual breakdown—nearly 8% higher than last year alone. The most expensive item in the song? “Swans-a-swimming” at $1,000 apiece, but hey, who can put a price on true love …
