Report: Two House Church Leaders and a Toddler Were Arrested in China For Worshipping in a Park

According to a disturbing new report, police in China arrested a woman named Xu Shizhen, along with her daughter and 3-year-old grandson, for “singing, dancing and preaching” in a park, according to Christianity Today.

Xu Shizhen is a house church leader who had her church seized five years ago for violating the country’s strict restrictions on Christianity.

China recently passed even more restrictions of practicing faith that make it illegal to publicly minister if you are not inside of a church that has been registered with the government.
