Nightmares Are Real: Millions of Locusts Invade Albuquerque

Nightmares are real. Wickedness exists. The terror is not in your mind—it is reality. What you are seeing is Doppler radar of which a swarm of locusts—millions of them, stretching a full mile into the air—have descended upon the good people of Albuquerque like an Old Testamental plague. Evidently, New Mexico has been undergoing a terrible drought which is luring this spawn of your darkest fears, and now there is no escape for the Albuquerqueans (Albuquirkies?) except to tough it out. The locusts seem to be centered around the airport, evidently in some diabolical attempt to keep anyone from going in or out. Send some good thoughts to Albuquerque this week …
