Did you have a tough time in high school? Probably. Seems like most people did. But for those of you deemed “attractive” by society’s whims, high school may have been a little less tough. That comes as no huge surprise as far as student life goes, but new studies show that the benefits of being beautiful go further than just sitting at the cool kids’ table. The National Longitudinal Study of Adolescent Health studied a collection of students from the class of ’94-95 and has been keeping up with them ever since. As it turns out, those who are considered be physically “above average” are liked just a little more by teachers, get better grades and, ultimately, have a better shot at going to college. Probably a better job too …
