NASA Sends Awesome Response to 7-Year-Old Aspiring Astronaut

Ever since visiting the Kennedy Space Center, little Dexter has been obsessed with the prospect of visiting Mars. Unfortunately for him, NASA has pesky “minimum age requirements” that prevent 7-year-olds like Dexter from becoming astronauts. Dexter decided to write the space agency a hand-written letter to ask what he could do to prepare for a future career in space exploration, and NASA sent this amazing response. Along with a letter that pointed to some online links about space camp, the astronaut program and resources to elementary students, NASA also sent Dexter some really cool pictures of the Red Planet and Mars Curiosity Rover, as well as a sticker that’s a replica of the mission patch worn by the astronauts.
