Jen Hatmaker has posted a moving tweet, explaining Jesus’ approach to encountering people, particularly women, in pain.
She tweeted, “In this new world of ‘What is even true anymore?’ I can tell you this: never, absolutely never would Jesus ever laugh at a woman’s pain, mock it, parody it, misrepresent it, and incite the crowd to do the same. He disbanded the leering mob to their shame, never hers.”

The tweet comes just hours after Pres. Trump appeared to openly mock the testimony of Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, who testified before congress that Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her when they were high school students. The move by the president has drawn widespread criticism from both lawmakers and even the hosts of Fox and Friends, who are typically very pro-Trump.
Oddly, just days ago, Trump had a different take on Dr. Ford’s testimony. On Friday, he said, “I thought her testimony was very compelling and she looks like a very fine woman to me, very fine woman. It was an incredible moment I think in the history of our country, but certainly [Ford] was a very credible witness. She was very good in many respects.”
