The Jordanian government has confirmed that Muadh al Kasabeh, who was captured by ISIS when his plane crashed in Syria, has been executed by the terrorist group. In January, ISIS had said they would release Kasabeh and a Japanese hostage if Jordan agreed to release a failed suicide bomber named Sajida al Rishawi. Jordan had agreed to the transfer on the condition that ISIS delivered proof that Kasabeh was still alive. Instead, they got a video of his execution. Based on the footage, it appears Kasabeh was mercilessly burned alive in his cell.
Jordan has announced plans to retaliate by executing Rishawi in the near future …
