Hundreds Protest Police Brutality in Several Major Cities

Hundreds showed up for massive demonstrations in cities including New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Oakland and Madison yesterday, protesting recent acts of police brutality. In some cases, the protestors blocked traffic and even clashed with police. At least 12 were arrested in New York after some sort of altercation with officers, at least six were arrested in San Francisco and 15 in Los Angeles after the groups interrupted traffic. The nationwide protests come after a series of high-profile incidents of police violence that have sparked national outrage.
