The Hubble Space Telescope Has Captured the Birth of a Star

NASA has released this breathtaking image of an infant star still “cloaked in a haze of golden gas and dust” from its violent birth. As this story on The Huffington Post explains, “Stars are born when a gas cloud collapses under its own gravitational pull to form a hot core.
