#GivingTuesday Campaign Encourages Consumers to Give Back

Following the consumerism holiday culmination that is “Cyber Monday” (which followed “Small Business Saturday” and “Black Friday”), there is another campaign that encourages Americans to open their wallets for the Christmas season. #GivingTuesday first launched last year as away to get the same consumers shelling out cash for the latest gifts to remember to give back to those in need. The idea is pretty simple: #GivingTuesday encourages non-profits and charities to launch special projects on Dec. 3, and promote them to followers to help fund.
