Christian Couple Refuses to Tip Their Gay Waiter

Oh boy. Here’s an unpleasant story out of Kansas, where a couple enjoyed what they called “excellent service” at Carrabba’s Italian Grill, but refused to tip their waiter on the grounds that they simply couldn’t abide giving money to a gay man. I called them Pharisees,” a local pastor named Dr. Marvin Baker told KCTV. “God really loves us. And God does not advertise or promote hate. That is not love.” For his part, the waiter himself has chosen to remain unidentified, but did release this anonymous statement. “The offers to help pay me back are much appreciated, but not at all needed. I’d prefer to let my work ethic and my service do the talking, nothing else” …
