Details are still coming in, but according to early reports, at least 60 people have been killed in a series of shootings and bombings in Paris. So far, authorities say that there have been at least six separate locations where gunmen have opened fire, and three different explosions. There are also reports that several gunmen are holding up to 100 hostages at a concert venue where the American band Eagles of Death Metal were performing. France’s president Francois Hollande was evacuated from a large soccer stadium in the city, where France was playing Germany. In video taken at the game, explosions can be heard outside. In a statement addressing the terrorist attacks, President Obama said, “This is an attack not just on Paris, not just on the people on France, but an attack on all humanity and the universal values we share.”
