HI there. Apparently (according to all of the other intern blogs so far this summer), introducing myself is annoying and not cool. Tough. My name is Jesse Penico, and I thought I would write a little bit about myself and my experience so far here at Relevant.
First, let me tell you about my self, really quickly. I am from Bradenton, Fl, and go to Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Fl. I am a Graphic Design major and will be a senior this next fall semester. An intersting thing about where I go to school, is that it is where Jeremy (our senior art director) went as well. I love graphic design a whole lot. I spend hours on sites such as Behance.net and FFFFOUND.com. Check ’em out!
Relevant was the first place I applied to for an internship this summer, and ended up being the only place that I officially applied. I know this is not a smart thing to do, but I prayed alot to God about where He wanted me to be, as well as what would be the best place to get experience from. Obviously this is where He wanted me, because everything worked out. I am very thankful that I am able to be where I am at, with amazing people (especially Tim, Lloyd and of course Adam) and an awesome atmosphere.
I hope you as the reader enjoy the work that me, and Sarah and Megan are going to create for you in the next few months! I am very excited about the work we’ve already done, as well as the huge project (which will remain secret) that we’re working on right now. What am I kidding, you will all love it more than anything you have ever seen before!
