According to new media research, more than $20 million has been paid to local TV stations in Florida for political attack ads. It’s the most in any state’s primary so far, and it basically means not even the wonder of Parks & Recreation is immune from someone screaming about Newt Gingrich’s moon colony …

Media analyst SNL Kagan estimates that a primary-high $20million-plus will pour in to Florida stations as candidates (and superPACs) unleash a torrent of ads designed to sway voters.
