Everyone’s favorite modern Stone Age family is heading back to the big screen. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Will Ferrell and long-time collaborator Adam McKay will executive produce a new, animated movie version of the classic 1960s cartoon sitcom. It’s not the first modern reboot of the retro comedy: Along with two really bad live action movie adaptations, even animators like Seth McFarlane have (unsuccessfully) tried their hand at bringing the series back. There’s no word yet on casting—or if Ferrell will be voicing Fred Flintstone or Barney Rubble—but at least Warner Bros. seems set on animation. No one wants to revisit
