A great way to start your International Women’s Day is with this trailer for Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s documentary, RBG.
Ginsburg is the second woman appointed to the U.S. Supreme Court and is on her way to being the longest serving woman associate justice in history.
Ginsburg talks about her groundbreaking career working toward justice for women.
“I did see myself as kind of a kindergarten teacher in those days, because the judges didn’t think sex discrimination existed,” she says in the trailer, describing her advocacy work for women’s rights in front of skeptical male judges.
Ginsburg also speaks fondly about her husband, Martin, who died in 2010.
There are also some lighter moments featuring Ginsburg’s famous workout regimen.
The movie is in theaters May 4.
