W. Kamau Bell Reflects on Anthony Bourdain in the New ‘Parts Unknown’ Trailer

The final season of Parts Unknown, which will air in six parts on CNN this fall, is just around the corner, and the latest promotion for the show sees season guest W. Kamau Bell reflecting on his time with Unknown‘s late host Anthony Bourdain in Kenya.

It’s an emotional ad, more a reflection on Bourdain’s mission for the show than an actual advertisement of the show itself. Bell says:

He wasn’t making TV for TV’s sake. This was his life work. If Tony was still alive, I would have him here to process it. I feel a responsibility to learn the lessons I learned when I was with him to take into the work that I’m doing.

Parts Unknown is back Sept. 23.
