Two Historians Say They’ve Found the Holy Grail

Two researchers say that they know where the Holy Grail is. The pair of historians, who also just happen to be the authors of a book about the relic called, Kings of the Grail, say that the cup Jesus drank from during the last supper has been hiding in plain sight for hundreds of years.

The duo says that they’ve decoded ancient scrolls from Egypt that reveal that the grail was stolen from Jerusalem by a group of Muslims, who disguised it with jewels before giving it as a gift to Spanish King Ferdinand I. They say that for the last thousand years, the bedazzled goblet has been in Spain at the San Isidoro Basilica, where it’s been on public display since the 1950s. Before you book your trip to Spain to catch a glimpse of the grail for yourself, you should know that the pair has their share of skeptics. An assistant professor of classics and religious studies at the University of Iowa told ABC News, “I don’t think we’ll ever find the Holy Grail. Even if we had it, there would be no way to confirm it was the grail.”
