Twenty years after the show first premiered, The Proud Family is returning next year in the reboot, The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder on Disney+.
Kyla Pratt is set to reprise her role as Penny Proud, alongside recurring cast members KeKe Palmer, Asante Blackk, rapper A Boogie, Raquel Lee Bolleau and Marcus T. Paulk. But the announced guest list is what really has the Internet buzzing.

Disney+ announced on Twitter only some of the guests who will lend their voice, and it’s the most star-studded cast we’ve seen in a long time with figures from music, film, television sports and more.
The original series followed Penny, a 14-year-old African American girl, as she and her friends from various cultural backgrounds navigated high school. The show was praised for the way that it handled racial stories and cultural events that hadn’t often been in the spotlight, such as the show’s episode about Kwanzaa.
The reboot will be set a few years after the original series ended, following the adventures of a slightly older Penny, her friends and loud and proud family. We don’t know much else beyond that (like will Destiny’s Child re-record the iconic theme song?) but in the meantime, you can watch the original series on Disney+.
