Netflix might not be done with Gilmore Girls.
Over Thanksgiving, the streaming network released the four-part miniseries, Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, which revisited the beloved show 10 years after it went off the air. Now, they might soon be making even more episodes.
The network’s Chief Content officer Ted Sarandos told reporters that they are in “very preliminary” talks with the show’s producers for more episodes.
We hope [there are more installments]. We obviously loved the success of the show, fans loved how well it was done, it delivered what they hoped … The worst thing is to wait a couple of years for your favorite show to come back and for it to disappoint you, but they sure delivered and people were really excited about more, and we have been talking to them about the possibility of that.[/lborder]
