Back in 2000, Jimmy Fallon, Horatio Sanz, Chris Kattan and Tracy Morgan performed a goofy version of the song “‘I Wish It Was Christmas Today” on Saturday Night Live, and the sketch became a sort of holiday cult classic.
This week, Fallon reunited the gang with pop singer Ariana Grande for a remake of the song.
Twenty years later, and the song still delivers: Tracy Morgan’s deadpanned dance moves, Chris Kattan’s smirking head-turning, Horatio Sanz’s mini-guitar still strike a really weird comic chord.
