Study: James Bond Has a Serious Drinking Problem

According to a new study by the medical journal BMJ, Agent 007 has a serious drinking problem. The team of researchers looked at all 14 of Ian Flemming’s original James Bond novels and found that the international spy averaged 92 drinks per week! Considering that his preferred drink was a martini (shaken, not stirred of course), the Mi6 man of mystery was most likely an alcoholic who downed 13 cocktails every day. Despite his propensity to evade gun shots, live through breakneck speed car chases and win fist fights with random henchmen, if he keeps up all this drinking, the researchers say he will be dead by 56.
