Streamageddon: Netflix Loses Nearly 1,800 Classic Titles

At midnight, the streaming service Netflix was purged of 1,794 classic movies as Warner Archive Instant becomes their exclusive owner. (Slate has deemed it a dreaded Streamageddon.) Among the movies that will no longer be available to Netflix subscribers are a few James Bond movies, some Woody Allen favorites and hundreds of beloved (and obscure) classic films.
