ThisThe upcoming film, Welcome to Marwen comes from Academy Award-winning director Robert Zemeckis, and is based on the true story of a man who was attacked by a group of Nazis.
The first trailer came out about a month ago but the latest one from Universal showcases a different version of Marwen.
Steve Carell stars as Mark Hogancamp, who lost all of his memories after being beaten to death. To put together the pieces from his old and new life, he meticulously builds replica of a tiny Belgian village called Marwen, and populates it with character models loosely based on himself and those in his life. In the town, he can heal and be heroic, and through this town he draws strength to triumph in the real world.
Welcome to Marwen hits theaters on December 21st.
