Starbucks Is Releasing a Questionable Christmas Tree Frappuccino Today

It’s the holidays, and all the sights and sounds and smells of the season might evoke some cravings in your gut: Christmas ham, trifle, and peppermint chocolate come to mind. Of course, Starbucks is foregoing the classic Christmas flavors in favor of something they think is most appetizing: the liquid joy of drinking an actual Christmas tree.

The frappuccino features a matcha-flavored whipped cream drizzled with caramel sauce atop a creme base that’s blended with peppermint and mocha syrups.

The whole thing is topped with candied cranberries and sliced strawberries, because supposedly all these things taste good together and should be in the same morning beverage. And your guess is as good as ours when it comes to if this thing actually tastes like a blended Christmas tree. Where’s the pine sap? Starbucks, if you’re gonna advertise it, follow through.

You can order the Christmas Tree Frappuccino from now until December 11, so grab it while its frosty.
