According to this story in The Hollywood Reporter, Scarlett Johansson and 12 Years a Slave breakout star Lupita Nyong’o are in talks to join the cast of Jon Favreau’s big-screen Jungle Book adaptation. Because of all of the talking animals, the Disney epic will be a “live-action/CG hybrid movie,” in which Nyong’o will play the wolf Rakcha and Johansson would voice the hypnotic python Kaa. The two would potentially be joining Idris Elba, who has signed on to play Shere Khan the tiger. The new, big-budget Jungle Book hits theaters in October of 2015 …
