First Man, the new movie from Whiplash and La La Land director Damien Chazelle who’s teaming up with star Ryan Gosling, recounts the story of NASA’s mission to land on the moon from 1961 to 1969. Gosling plays Neil Armstrong, and Claire Foy (she’s from The Crown) plays Janet Shearon, Armstrong’s wife.
The trailer is cut to look like a thriller, more an Interstellar than an Apollo 13.
