Thursday night will remotely reunite the citizens of Pawnee for a socially distanced, brand new episode of Parks and Rec and thank goodness, because we never needed them more. The show will find Leslie Knope catching up with all her old pals like Tom, Andy, April, Ben and, of course, Ron Swanson.
NBC has released a clip of the show, and you can get a feel for the Zoomified proceedings that await the new episode, but it sure looks like Amy Pohler and Nick Offerman slip back into their old characters no worse for the wear. Particularly Ron who, as you might guess, is taking to “social distancing” with ease.

The episode will help raise money for Feeding America, to make sure hard-hit food banks are equipped to meet their local community needs. State Farm is teaming up with the Parks and Rec cast and writers to match donations up to half a million dollars, so it’s a good time to stretch any extra funds you’ve set aside for donations.
