RIP Roger Ebert

The Chicago Sun-Times is reporting that Roger Ebert, who yesterday announced that he would be taking a “leave of presence” from film reviews, has passed away. The legendary critic gained fame for his insight, mighty spirit in the face of debilitating cancer and thoughtful commentary. His mark on thoughtful art criticism cannot be overestimated, and he will be missed. His final written words were: “So on this day of reflection I say again, thank you for going on this journey with me. I’ll see you at the movies.” …
