‘The Revenant’ Is Aiming for All of the Oscars

The 2016 Oscar nominations are here—and there are a few surprising omissions. Namely, everyone seems to have forgotten Ridley Scott in the Best Director category. You know what they say, though: You can’t win them all. Unless you’re The Revenant. Alejandro González Iñárritu’s thriller got a whopping 12 Oscar noms. The Revenant was followed closely by Mad Max: Fury Road which racked up an impressive 10 nominations. Here are some of the more notable nominations:
