Restaurant to Offer 10-Course Meal Based on Radiohead’s ‘Kid A’

How much do you like Kid A? Enough to eat it whole? Not the album, that’d be ridiculous, but a 10-course meal based on the album, perhaps? Well, you’re in luck, because Detroit chef Ken Hanley is offering a once-in-a-lifetime 10-course meal, each based on a different song on Radiohead’s landmark 2000 masterpiece. We haven’t looked at the menu yet (you can here) but we’ve got a pretty good idea of what it’ll be. For an appetizer, you get stewed existential paranoia. Then a light salad of digital technology shaping you into a mindless automaton. Then, for the main course, an on-the-bone cut of certified postmodern despair, with a side of wake up, you are being controlled. And for desert, a glazed computer, numbing your senses to a reality you are helpless to fight. Bon appétit
