Read the Rejection Letter a Record Label Sent to U2 in 1979

RSO is a record label nobody has ever heard of—probably because they were a little lacking when it came to sniffing out success. Case in point, this letter @uberfacts has been circulating. It’s a 1979 letter RSO sent to one Paul Hewson, whom they called “Mr. Hewson,” whom the world would come to call “Bono,” telling him that his music was “not suitable for them” at the present.

Just a reminder that one person’s “no” doesn’t necessarily have to be the final word …
