The Public Policy Polling organization has been busy with some serious business these days: like finally figuring out just how much American’s dislike hipsters. According to a new poll, only 16% of Americans have a favorable view of hipsters. Presumably, this 16% is made up of marketing executives attempting to sell ironic vintage cat-themed tank-tops at insanely marked up prices. Some other findings from the study: 27% said that “hipsters should be subjected to a special tax for being so annoying”; half of the 18-29 year-olds who voted in the poll identified as hipsters; 100% of those that identified as hipsters had an unfounded hatred for multiple gears on bicycles …
