Nike is taking two things that should really go together (chicken and waffles) and adding another thing that doesn’t really belong, truly putting the sole in soul food. And, much like the invention of chicken and waffles, it will either be a stroke of genius or an utter disaster. Nike claims on their website that chicken and waffles is “the favorite meal of a number of Nike SB pros.” The shoe features waffle-like indentions and a syrupy nike swoosh that you know and love. And, at $110, they will be the most expensive chicken and waffles you’ve ever had.
