This week on the public radio theater show Live From Here (formally, A Prairie Home Companion), host and Nickel Creek frontman Chris Thile made an interesting musical selection.
As a tribute to producer Tony Berg’s birthday (someone who Thile says has challenged him on big questions), he played the song “Doubting Thomas.” The song is a meditation on faith—but also doubt—and the desire to believe.
It’s a powerful and challenging tune.
Back in 2016, he opened up to The RELEVANT Podcast about why faith—and questioning (at about the 77:00 mark)—is still a part of the iconic show and American life in general.
