Is there anything Chance the Rapper can’t do? The multi-hyphenate writer/rapper/actor/advocate/biblical sabbatical taker is pumping the breaks on his mission to bring Young Earth Creationism back into the mainstream for another, perhaps more popular battle: to bring spicy chicken nuggets back to Wendy’s. And it is a war he has won.
It all started Saturday, when Chance tweeted this.
Positive Affirmations for today: I WILL have a good day, I Will succeed today, Wendy’s WILL bring back spicy nuggets at some point please please Lord let it be today.

Pretty typical tweet for Chance (positive, Christian, involving fast food) but this one took on a life of its own after the Wendy’s Twitter account — that famous rapscallion of late age capitalism which blends a multi-billion dollar brand with millennial Twitter jargon so expertly you feel like you’re talking to a twentysomething web designed in San Francisco — QT’d Chance with a promise: get this tweet two million likes and it’ll happen.
Two million is a lot of likes even for an account with Chance and Wendy’s social reach, but it took less than 48 hours to achieve. Wendy’s is sticking to its word too, though the details are still getting hammered out.
