10 Worship Songs You Need to Hear This Week

We’re not really sure how your summer has been. Maybe it’s been full of fun moments with friends and family. Maybe it’s been sad and depressing because you feel crushed down by the world. Maybe it’s been stressful, working tirelessly. Maybe it’s all of the above.

Whatever you have been feeling, one of the best things you can do right now is set some time aside to worship God. Listening to worship music has a way of helping us focus our sight on our good and perfect Father, who is worthy of endless praise. We’ve compiled a small list of some of our favorite worship songs that were recently released. You won’t want to skip any of these:

Phenomena (DA DA) – Hillsong Young & Free

Hillsong Young & Free recorded their newest single “Phenomena (DA DA)” in front of a live audience. The song captures the feverous energy of a crowd on fire for God’s love.

“‘Phenomena!’ or also known as ‘da da da da da da,’ is a song that gets into your head and into your heart,” said Hillsong Young & Free’s Laura Toggs. “It’s a statement song about the true reality we have in Jesus.”

High Praise – Maverick City Music, Tribl

Tribl Records, the new leading premiere recording home for Christian and Gospel artists, released its debut album, Tribl 1 which features notable voices and artists such as Chandler Moore, Naomi Raine, Brandon Lake, Aaron Moses and more. With songs like “High Praise,” which calls us to give all glory and honor to God, this album will surely be on repeat for the rest of the summer.

I Say Yes – Kim Walker-Smith

Jesus Culture’s Kim Walker-Smith recently recorded her latest EP Revival Nights while on the road in June. Her song “I Say Yes” encourages us to lay down everything we put in place of God and say “yes” to everything He wants for us.

Miracle in the Works – Bryan & Katie Torwalt

“This song is about faith and the faithfulness of God,” Bryan shared in a recent interview. “We all have moments when it feels almost impossible to have faith. There’s something about remembering and sharing testimonies that helps us recognize and have faith for how God is working – both in the present and how He’ll be with us no matter what happens in the future. ‘Some might say it’s hopeless, they must’ve never met my God.'”

Hymn of Heaven – Phil Wickham

Phil Wickham’s song about the hope we have in our eternal future gives us absolute chills. “Every prayer we prayed in desperation / The songs of faith / We sang through doubt and fear / In the end we’ll see that it was worth it / When He returns to wipe away our tears”

Peace (Live) – We the Kingdom

As a multi-generational family of musicians, We the Kingdom know that life can get strained. In those moments, God call us to breathe in His peace and remember He is always with us in the highs and lows of life.

Know You Will – Hillsong UNITED

Another Hillsong hit on this list, but this time it’s from Hillsong UNITED. “Know You Will” is all about the power and faithfulness of God. This infectious song will have you screaming “I don’t know how You’ll make a way / but I know You will” alongside the band.

Glory, Glory, (God Is Able) – CROWDER

CROWDER’s recently released album Milk and Honey is chock full of holy and beautiful worship songs. And “Glory, Glory (God Is Able)” is perhaps one of the most fun worship songs to come out this summer. The fun beat and catchy lyrics remind us that worshipping GOd is supposed to be enjoyable.

Godsend – Riley Clemons

Riley Clemons reminds us that God can move even in our most difficult moments. Her stripped own version of “Godsend” allows us to focus on the lyrics, which poignantly ask “What if maybe every broken place was a I’ve been was a Godsend?”

Holy Holy Here With Me – Housefires

Housefires’ latest album Housefires VII has so many good songs on it, it was hard to pick just one. From “Holy Holy Here With Me” that reminds us of the pure holiness of God to “Open Up the Doors” which pushes us to lay anything taking up space in our lives aside from our Father, the album is full of truths we all need to hear.
