The trailer has finally dropped for NEEDTOBREATHE’s new documentary, Into the Mystery.
The film chronicles the band recording their latest album (which comes out tomorrow!) at the height of the pandemic. Without letting anyone know, the band camped out at a historic house-turned-recording studio in remote Tennessee to work on their eighth studio album, Into the Mystery.
Over three weeks, the band filmed their creative process to capture how artists who were struggling with the effects of the pandemic could create something poignant and important. The documentary features the band — Bear Rinehart, Seth Bolt, Josh Lovelace, Randall Harris and Tyler Burkum — as well as special guests Natalie Hemby, Joe Stillwell, David Leonard and Jon Foreman of Switchfoot.
Music documentaries have popped up more and more over the years, as they allow fans to get up close and personal with their favorite artists. NEEDTOBREATHE fans will get to see the band start and finish what is surely an exciting album, and we’re excited to watch it. And hey, maybe even people will watch a documentary about “the band you’ve never heard of.”
The documentary will be released after the band’s fall tour.
