The Jumanji remake was a weirdly charming hit that lightly updated the premise of the original Robin Williams vehicle and managed to introduce some interesting and thoughtful social commentary into its video game bodyswap adventure comedy.
Hard to say whether lightning will strike twice but, well, Dannys Glover and DeVito certainly inspire a lot of confidence. Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan and Jack Black are back along with Dwayne Johnson, and all look game to revisit this movie’s goofball premise, and, hey, Awkwafina’s here too!
Maybe this will be good!
