‘MoviePass’ Will Let You Go to the Movies as Much as You Want for $10 a Month

One of the founders of Netflix wants to seriously disrupt the movie industry.

Mitch Lowe’s company MoviePass has dropped the price of its service to $9.95 a month in an effort to learn more about customers’ movie-going habits.

The price of the subscription service is no longer broken into tiers, and lets you pay a flat monthly fee in exchange for being able to go to the movies every single day without buying a ticket. (Though, you can only see one movie a day).

It’s a pretty insane deal if you are a frequent moviegoer.

Lowe told Variety, “After years of studying and analysis we found that people want to go to the movies more often, but the pricing keeps going up, and that prevents them from going more. We’re making it more affordable for people.”
