A week after posting a bizarre message from Gary Busey—in which Busey pleads for a return call—worship artist David Crowder has shared another video message. This one is from Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee.
In it, Lee asks Crowder to stop texting him, and offers a (bleeped) profanity-laced pep talk. It’s very weird.
You can see both videos below.
Monday’s are tough.
But then guys like Tommy Lee come through with reminders of motivation and encouragement. Thanks man. #motivationalmondays pic.twitter.com/yF3aSpg3ut— David Crowder (@crowdermusic) March 9, 2020
Thanks for the call @thegarybusey. I'll hit you back.#motivationalmondays pic.twitter.com/zVYnrgdztW

Now, is it possible that Crowder has a very odd group of semi-celebrity best friends who regularly send him video messages? Knowing Crowder, yes, that is possible.
Is it also possible that these are videos made through Cameo, the service that lets you pay to have various “celebrities” leave you custom video messages, as a sort of meta-prank? Knowing Crowder, yes, that is also possible.
Very possible.
