Late-Night: The Roots to Move to ‘The Tonight Show’; Alec Baldwin May Get Own Show

There’s more news about NBC’s continued late night shake-up. In an interview with Fuse, Roots drummer Questlove has confirmed that the group will stay with Jimmy Fallon when he moves to host The Tonight Show in 2014. There’s also rumors that when Fallon takes over for Jay Leno at the 11:35 spot, the network will be giving actor Alec Baldwin his own talk show to air at 1:35 (a time slot currently held by Last Call with Carson Daily). According to Entertainment Weekly, the new show would be an intimate one-on-one interview-style talk show, similar to the format of his popular podcast, Here’s the Thing.
