Kanye Really, Really Liked ‘Pacific Rim’

Kanye West is not a man to say nice things about other people’s work, so when he does, it raises eyebrows. And when he really loves something, as is the case with his reaction to Pacific Rim, it’s of particular note. On the one hand, this is not so surprising. Guillermo del Toro has made a name for himself as a supremely capable director, and early reviews of his giant robot verses giant monster movie have been glowing (Konami President Hideo Kojima tweeted “I have never imagined that I would be fortunate enough to see a film like this in my life.”) As for Kanye, well, here’s the tweet.
