Join Crowder for a Woodland Concert In the New Video for ‘Red Letters’

You can always rely on Crowder to deliver strong faith-centered lyrics before evocative imagery and dynamic sound. On his new album I Know A Ghost, the artist is channeling his Southern roots as usual, but bringing forth a lot of electronic production and hip-hop sound for something that not only blends genre, but venue and atmosphere as well.

The evidence is on full display in his video for “Red Letters.” Crowder’s twang-ish voice is front and center and the bayou vibe fits right in with his performance, but the instrumentation is worshipful and contemporary, and the arc of the video is artful and abstract, far from the boots-on-the-ground tactility you see in some more Western-influenced music.

I Know A Ghost is available to stream Nov. 9. Buckle up. Every song is a little different, and you’re seeing a lot of sides of Crowder, from his influences to his interpretations to his roots.
